Receptionists
Meghan, Lead Receptionist
Meghan starting working with us at at the K-9 Social
Club years ago. We realized she had a talent for
organization, extremely good customer service
skills, and a dedication to making people happy.
So she started receptioning at our sister hospital,
San Mateo Animal Hospital and under the
guidance of our lead receptionist there, Lan,
she blossomed! Every new challenge we gave her
she met with gusto and enthusiasm.
When we offered her the position of Lead Reception
at San Carlos Pet Hospital, she was hesitant. I will
say that Meghan has really grown up before our eyes
and her skills at managing the front desk are awesome.
If you need anything, Meghan will leave no stone
unturned to get it for you and all with a smile.
We look forward to many more years of exceptional
customer service from this young lady!
Veterinary Nurses
Gianna
From early childhood, Gianna’s primary passion and
interest has been in animal welfare and medicine.
She is invested in providing the most compassionate,
highest quality patient care. At an early age, she
began her work with animals at a local-wildlife
rehabilitation center. For years, she helped
nurse sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife back to
health to be re-released to their natural local habitats.
Gianna started her career in veterinary nursing
for companion animals at Pets Unlimited, a non-profit,
24-hour emergency veterinary hospital and adoption center.
While there she gained valuable experience in
general practice, internal and emergency medicine. Gianna
has a particular interest in internal and emergency medicine,
post-surgical recovery, and intensive care nursing.
In her spare time, Gianna enjoys reading historical fiction
novels, spending time with family, being outdoors, and the
company of her two rescued cats, Blue and Nugget.
Peggy, RVT
Peggy started her career in veterinary
emergency medicine. She then went into
general practice and found her true calling.
Peggy is our resident dental expert but
because of her many years experience, she's
really great at all things related to small
animal medicine.
We are so honored to have her as part of our
team and her gentle, quiet, compassionate
demeanor is much appreciated.
In her spare time Peggy spends time with her
family and two small dogs.
